Disavow Tool

A Google Search Console feature that asks Google to ignore specified backlinks.

The disavow tool tells Google to disregard specific links when assessing a site. Most sites should never use it - Google's algorithms already discount low-quality links automatically. Reserve disavow for cases of confirmed manual action with link-related issues, or known negative SEO attacks involving genuinely harmful link patterns. Misuse can damage rankings.
