Terms of Service

Professional SEO Services Agreement. Last Updated: 14th October 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By engaging Wix SEO Expert UK for SEO consulting services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before proceeding with any service engagement. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "Client") and Wix SEO Expert UK (the "Service Provider").

2. Services Provided

The Service Provider offers professional SEO consulting services including but not limited to: full-site Wix SEO optimisation (Package 1), covering on-page optimisation, structured data and keyword research for the pages included; the Wix SEO Fix in a Box app, available from the Wix App Market and covered by its own terms below; the Dual Layer Schema Pack; optimisation of existing Google Business Profiles; and SEO consulting and hourly help. Specific services will be outlined in individual project proposals or service agreements.

3. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to: provide timely access to website administration, analytics, and other necessary platforms; provide accurate and complete information about their business and target audience; review and approve content, changes, and recommendations in a timely manner; communicate openly about goals, concerns, and expectations; make timely payments as agreed in the service proposal; and understand that SEO results take time and are not guaranteed.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in individual service agreements. Standard terms include: project-based services require full balance before work commences; monthly retainer services require payment due in advance on the 1st of each month; one-time audits require full payment before delivery of audit report. All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and exclude VAT where applicable.

5. Service Guarantee

The Service Provider guarantees professional service delivery according to industry best practices, transparent communication and quarterly reporting for yearly clients, white-hat SEO techniques that comply with search engine guidelines, and confidentiality of client information and business data. While the Service Provider employs industry best practices and has a proven track record, specific ranking positions, traffic numbers, or conversion rates cannot be guaranteed. SEO results depend on numerous factors including competition, search engine algorithms, and market conditions beyond the Service Provider's control.

6. Refund Policy

Project-Based Services: if you are unsatisfied with the initial audit or strategy phase (first 14 days), you may request a full refund. After work has commenced on implementation, refunds will be pro-rated based on work completed. Monthly Retainer Services: either party may cancel with 30 days written notice. No refunds will be provided for the current billing period. One-Time Services: no refunds are provided once the deliverable has been provided, except in cases of service non-delivery or material breach.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, strategies, and recommendations created specifically for the Client become the Client's property upon full payment. The Service Provider retains the right to use anonymised case studies and results for marketing purposes (with client approval), showcase the client's website in portfolio examples (with client approval), and retain proprietary methodologies, tools, and processes.

8. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information shared during the course of the engagement. This includes but is not limited to business strategies and plans, analytics and performance data, customer information, financial information, and proprietary processes and methodologies.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service Provider's total liability for any claims arising from services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for services in the preceding 12 months. The Service Provider is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate services with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, the Client must pay for all work completed up to the termination date, the Service Provider will provide a final report and handover documentation, and all Client data and access will be returned or deleted as requested. Confidentiality obligations remain in effect indefinitely.

11. Changes to Terms

The Service Provider reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of material changes via email. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging services, submitting a contact form, or accepting a service proposal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

15. SEO Fix in a Box App

These terms also cover SEO Fix in a Box, my app on the Wix App Market. Plans are Free, Starter, Business and Pro, billed by Wix yearly or monthly, plus one-off top-ups. What each plan includes and its price are shown on the app's pricing page in Wix.

Each paid plan gives a set number of pages a year, or month by month on monthly billing. A page uses your allowance the first time it is fixed in a plan year, and each page can be fixed twice a plan year. Five shop products use one page. Top-up pages never expire and are used after your plan's pages. One order is written at a time.

You must own the Wix site you install the app on, or have the owner's permission. The app changes only the titles, meta descriptions and structured data of the pages, posts and products you choose, and only when you click Apply. It saves a copy first, so Undo puts each page back. Changes to H1 headings and opening paragraphs are made by you in the Wix editor, using the steps the app gives you. Please check your fixes before you apply them.

As with all my services, rankings, traffic and AI mentions cannot be guaranteed (see section 5).

Payments and refunds for app plans and top-ups are handled by Wix under Wix's own terms. If something isn't right, email michael@frontlineweb.biz and I'll do what I can to put it right. You can cancel your plan through Wix and remove the app at any time.

I may suspend access if the app is misused, for example to fix sites you don't own or to get around plan limits.
