noindex Meta Tag

A directive telling search engines not to include a page in their index.

The noindex directive can be applied via meta robots tag (<meta name="robots" content="noindex">) or X-Robots-Tag HTTP header. Pages can still be crawled but will not appear in search results once Google processes the directive. Use noindex for thank-you pages, internal search results, member-only pages and other content that shouldn't rank publicly.
