AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages)

A deprecated HTML framework for ultra-fast mobile pages.

AMP was developed by Google to deliver near-instant mobile loads via a constrained subset of HTML and Google's caching CDN. Google removed AMP requirements for Top Stories in 2021, replacing them with Core Web Vitals. AMP adoption has declined sharply as modern web techniques achieve comparable speeds without the format constraints.
