Google Search Console has a dedicated International Targeting section that lets you set a country target for your site and see hreflang errors across your multilingual Wix setup. This is one of the most important verification steps after launching a multilingual site — and one of the most overlooked.

In the Performance section of GSC, you can filter by country to see how each language version of your Wix site is performing. Add a Country dimension to the report and compare impressions, clicks and CTR across each market. This data tells you which language versions are gaining traction and which need more content or backlink investment to rank.

Indexing Check: After launching new language versions on Wix, inspect a sample of translated URLs using the URL Inspection tool in GSC. This confirms the translated pages are indexed with the correct language metadata and that the hreflang alternate tags are being recognised correctly by Google.
